Main lines from the final storyboard
First level: steady membrane (body dimension)
the users are immersed in a 3D membrane, made by diffuse blue color layers and orange wires (it’s the ‘inside’, where the unities of life are placed)... swarms of red cells (flocks) appear rising from the surface... the cursor is a curved laserbeam... the flocks follow the cursor... swarming sound...
Second level: liquid membrane (selection dimension)
the membrane morphs to a ‘liquid’ state... lights change to colored lights... the flocks start to shape different configurations (to scatter) and the cells behave more individually... the visitor can select the cells... the cells are attracted to the tip of the laser and positioned in front by using the joystick to shorten beam...
Third level: breathing membrane (sound dimension)
the membrane is breathing... by selecting, the cells 'fade out' and molecules appear... molecules with the same shape are attracted to each other and form flocks with different behaviors... A 3D score is created by the whole of user’s actions, environment sound and molecules’ self-movement and organization...
