MEDIA ART TEACHER
• Fifteen years highly experimental career practice in: CREATIVE and CONTENT DIRECTION, VISUAL COMMUNICATION, INTERACTIVE MEDIA, EXPERIENCE DESIGN, ART-SCIENCE, IMMERSIVE ENVIRONMENTS and EPHEMERAL ARCHITECTURE.
• Ten years background in EVENTS PLANNING and PRODUCTION: EXHIBITIONS and LIVE PERFORMANCES ranging from INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA to MULTISENSORY EXPERIENCE DESIGN.
Her work, which involves the creation of LARGE-SCALE INSTALLATIONS and PERFORMANCE EVENTS, has been widely exhibited at international art and cultural institutions, museums and festivals - among others, in China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, Spain, Taiwan and the Netherlands.
Her other experience includes two years of joint Creative Direction of Optofonica - Laboratory for Immersive ArtScience in Amsterdam.
She has been ARTIST IN RESIDENCE at institutions such as V2_, Institute for the Unstable Media (Rotterdam), Netherlands Media Art Institute and STEIM Studio for Electro-Instrumental Music (Amsterdam), Claudio Buziol Foundation (Venice).
Recipient of various international awards - including the FIRST PRIZE at Vida Art & Artificial Life International competition (Madrid), ART DIVISION EXCELLENCE PRIZE at the Japan Media Arts Festival (Tokyo) and two HONORABLE MENTIONS at Prix Ars Electronica Interactive Art (Linz).
For over ten years she has been DIGITAL ARTS TEACHER, with a focus on the practices related to how human beings experience physical reality through their sensory system.
In the Netherlands, many years at the Art Academy Minerva in Groningen (Frank Mohr Institute, IME Interactive Media Environment Department), and at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (ArtScience Interfaculty), where she conducted the course 'Sensing Spatial Experiences' .
WORKSHOP LEADER and ADVISOR in various schools of art and cultural institutions in Europe.
In addition to several PUBLICATIONS about her work, she has given SEMINARS and CONFERENCES internationally.
JURY MEMBER of Prix Ars Electronica , Interactive and Hybrid Art categories (Linz).
