VISUAL AND INTERACTION DESIGNER
MEDIA ART TEACHER
Interested in exploring integrated design between ART, ARCHITECTURE, NEW MEDIA and SCIENCE with over fifteen years of highly experimental and research driven practice in EPHEMERAL ARCHITECTURE, EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN and IMMERSIVE ENVIRONMENTS.
Her work, which involves the CREATION and ART DIRECTION of LARGE-SCALE INSTALLATIONS and PERFORMANCE EVENTS, has been widely exhibited at international art institutions, museums and festivals - among others, in China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Russia, Taiwan and the Netherlands.
Her other experience includes two years of joint Creative Direction of Optofonica - Laboratory for Immersive ArtScience in Amsterdam.
She has been ARTIST IN RESIDENCE at institutions such as V2_, Institute for the Unstable Media (Rotterdam), Netherlands Media Art Institute and STEIM (Amsterdam), Claudio Buziol Foundation (Venice).
Recipient of various international awards - including the FIRST PRIZE at Vida Art & Artificial Life International competition (Madrid), ART DIVISION EXCELLENCE PRIZE at the Japan Media Arts Festival (Tokyo) and two HONORABLE MENTIONS at Prix Ars Electronica Interactive Art (Linz).
For over ten years she has been TEACHING Digital Art and its disciplines. WORKSHOP LEADER and advisor in various schools of art and institutions in Europe.
In addition to several publications about her artistic research, she has given seminars and conferences internationally.
Jury member of Prix Ars Electronica Interactive Art and Prix Ars Electronica Hybrid Art (Linz).
